Accessibility statement

Signature Restaurant AS, org.nr. 938050775 We want as many people as possible to be able to use our website. This statement describes how well signaturrestaurant.no meets the requirements of the regulation on the universal design of ICT solutions, which sets requirements for WCAG 2.1 level AA.

The declaration was last updated August 11, 2026.

Compliance status

The website is partly in accordance with WCAG 2.1 level AA. «Partially» means that parts of the content have not been fully tested, and that known discrepancies exist. These are listed below.

What is controlled

The following is verified in the actual code and color values of the website:

  • The language is declared on the page
  • One main title per page, without jumps in the title level
  • All meaningful images have alternative text
  • Decorative images are marked as decorative
  • All links have an accessible name
  • Jump-to-content link is available
  • Visible focus marking on the touchscreen navigation system
  • Foldable fields can be operated using the keyboard and indicate when they are open or closed.
  • The sections of the page are named after landmarks
  • The content works on screen widths from 390 to 1440 pixels without horizontal scrolling

Contrasts

All combinations of text and background in the color palette are calculated. The requirement for level AA is 4.5:1 for normal text. The lowest measured value on the website is 7,82:1, That is, well over the requirement.

Known content that is not available

1. Incomplete language labeling in the accessibility toolbar

The website uses a third-party accessibility toolbar. Several of the buttons in it have English labels without the language change being marked in the code. A screen reader set to Norwegian will read them with Norwegian pronunciation.

Breaks WCAG 3.1.2 Language in parts of the content (level AA). The reason lies in the third-party tool, not in the website's own code.
Planned measures: Ask the provider for a complete Norwegian translation or correct language labeling

2. Empty aria-controls on collapsible fields

The collapsible fields in the menu and question sections have an empty value. aria-controls-attribute. The condition is communicated correctly in another way, and the fields can be accessed using the keyboard, so the practical consequence is considered insignificant.

Planned measures: To be considered in the next major update.

3rd order keyboard focus sequence not verified

The accessibility toolbar is located before the jump-to-content link in the code. It is not confirmed how many keystrokes a keyboard user needs to reach the main content.

Planned measures: Manual keyboard testing is carried out before launch

How the website is tested

The inspection has been carried out August 11, 2026 as a review of the website's generated code, stylesheets, and color values, measured against WCAG 2.1 level AA.

The following has not yet been completed:

  • Manual keyboard navigation throughout the entire website
  • Testing with a screen reader
  • Tests with magnification up to 200 and 400 percent
  • Test with voice control

These require manual testing and cannot be replaced by a code review.

If you are not satisfied with how we follow up on your request, you can file a complaint with the Discrimination Board. The board handles cases of lack of universal design free of charge, and you do not need a lawyer. The IKT Universal Design Authority oversees the regulations.
